The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final rule for faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21)
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; Deuteronomy 6:4)
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, and will return again. (John 1:1,14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4)
Man was created in God’s image, fell into sin through Adam, is sinful by nature and choice, and can be saved only through Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 5:12; Romans 3:23; John 3:16; Acts 4:12)
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by works but received through repentance and belief in the gospel. (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10)
We believe the local church is a body of baptized believers, united for worship, teaching, fellowship, and mission. (Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:25)
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe baptism is by immersion and follows a person’s profession of faith. The Lord’s Supper is a memorial of Christ’s death and a celebration of our salvation. (Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)
We believe believers are called to live a holy and obedient life, empowered by the Holy Spirit, reflecting Christ in character and conduct, loving God and others. (Romans 12:1-2; Galatians 5:22-23; 1 John 2:6)
We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to judge the living and the dead and to establish His eternal kingdom. (Acts 1:11; Revelation 22:12)
